I am currently involved at Eagles Youth Club (NPO), which is situated in Durban, Ottawa, where we have youth coming from surrounding areas like Phoenix, Verulem, Amouti and Water Loo.
We have run various workshops to equip these young people in becoming more effective in their communities.
Recently we have held two very successful workshops, where I have been given the privilege to host 'Jewellery making' sessions, and to share my dream of where 'Bedolach creations' started off.
It is my desire to show young people that they should not become victims of their circumstances, as I can identify with coming from a disadvantaged background, dealing with rejection and abuse, yet my message of hope to these young people is that you CAN be victorious over circumstances and not succumb to them.
My aim is to help turn their attention away from their current plight and focus more on what it is that they have in their hands.
